Labelnet Turn 20!
Anniversary: 1 July 1999
How it all began
20 years ago, on a hot summer’s day back in July of 1999, Labelnet was first opened in Ongar, Essex. The team consisted of just Neil Southgate (Managing Director) and Shirley Bizzell (Co-Owner) with no customers, employees or suppliers.
After an exciting first year and gaining one Finishing Operator, Labelnet’s success had begun.
20 years on and the business has come leaps and bounds. With 24 employees, amazing customer relationships, Digital, Flexo and Finishing Machines – Labelnet are about to celebrate their 20 year anniversary.
What We Do
We print labels for all industries including food, drinks, chemicals, beauty and trade. Our sales team alone have 89 years’ experience within the label industry, between them all and love making friendly relationships with our customers.
Our most recent investment has been in our Digital Domino Printer which prints the highest quality resolution on the market and offers specialised texturing and materials to our customers.
After recently ‘getting down with the kids’ and becoming more proactive on Social Media, our Facebook followers have grown to over 450. Our team is the biggest it’s ever been with every department on hand to help with the production flow, customer service and ensure our labels are delivered to a high-quality standard every time.
So how will we celebrate?
Our recent new website was launched in celebration of our 20th year. A new modern look was designed to create an easy on the eye appearance, and make it more manageable to navigate around the pages. We hope you enjoy.
We wanted to head out as a team so are heading into London for a drink and jig, and will be cheers-ing in our 20th year all together, at the end of July.
And of course, our customers are to thank for our 20 year success, we wouldn’t be here without them. To thank our customers for the success of our business and for their continued support we have a few merchandise giveaways throughout the year – everyone needs that spare pen or mousemat!
